The Therapeutic Process
The therapeutic process looks different for everyone. Therapy is not about quick fixes, it is about establishing a secure and therapeutic relationship with your therapist so that you can integrate your work in a deep way that is lasting. Your results will depend on how you show up and choose to do the work. The more you put in the more you will receive in return. It can be a slow process or a rapid one, it is different for everyone. Some people come to therapy for just a handful of months to help them through difficult life transitions, while others incorporate it into their self care practice and go to therapy for years if not their entire lifetime.
